Peter White

Writer, editor and consultant for non-profits. Informal, experiential learning is a particular focus, alongside self-management and personal productivity.

I'm a partner in a business called alt62, working mainly for nonprofit organisations.

Most recently we've worked with the British Red Cross, Crimestoppers, the National Youth Agency, Financial Services Authority and, now, Consumer Financial Education Body. Over the years we have produced awareness-raising or educational material for large and small organisations including Save the Children, ECPAT, and Deafblind UK.

For many years I also did education-based journalism—writing quick guides and talking point columns for Young People Now and Children Now magazines (before they merged), as well as feature articles on youth-related issues for various magazines.

We run a website work time life space, on self-management in the non-profit sector.

I like this Knowhow nonprofit space, and wish it well. Here's a guide I wrote for its how-to section on making your job easier

I'm happy to hear from anyone—feel free to email me:
