Developing your theory of change

A theory of change can help you plan new work, communicate the purpose of what you do to trustees, funders, donors and users, and decide what information to collect for evaluation. On this course you will learn about what theory of change is and how you can develop one to suit your organisation’s needs. Working with others, you’ll start building your own theory of change for a project, programme or your organisation. The course will also explore how theory of change can be used to develop your evaluation plans.

Attendees This course is for anyone involved in strategy, business planning, communications or reporting on the value of your organisation’s work. Participants will be expected to have an understanding of outcome measurement.
