Campaigning is a way to create lasting social change. Charities have long been at the forefront of movements that have changed policies and laws. But how can charities make sure that their campaigns have an impact?
Charities may look at the impact of their campaigns in an ad hoc and unfocused way, or only once the campaign ends. Yet thinking rigorously about impact from the start of a campaign is key to planning high-impact activities, learning and adapting as you go, and eventually bringing about change. Planning is not always an internal process—involving users and collaborating with others at this early stage may be the key to having an impact later.
This event will:
- Outline methods for charities to focus on impact from the very start of planning their campaigns.
- Explore how user involvement in planning campaigns can make them more impactful.
- Discuss how collaboration may create a more impact focused campaign.
