The way you are funded is changing, as Police and Crime Commissioners take on new responsibilities for commissioning services from the voluntary and community sector.

This course will help you to understand the new funding landscape alongside meeting with commissioners and similar organisations.

Preparing for the future – a one-day specialist training course for 'Violence Against Women and Girls' (VAWG) Organisations.

This specialist one-day course is an invaluable opportunity for VAWG organisations to:

  • Understand the changing funding context for their work
  • Understand how you need to adapt business practices as  in order to succeed in this new environment
  • Build relationships with commissioners (PCCs)
  • Build contacts with colleague organisations with a view to establishing a coherent and 'sellable' service delivery offer to commissioners, whist retaining the values, ethos and strengths of the women’s voluntary sector.

This workshop is aimed at senior staff and trustees of women's voluntary organisations.

The programme is kindly supported on a pro bono basis by Interserve, who are devising and delivering this training in partnership with NCVO and NAVCA. It is intended that the relevant Offices of the Police and Crime Commissioner will participate in all of the events. It is also supported by the Home Office and Cabinet Office.
