Are you getting the best from your volunteers, and are you aware of your legal duties towards them? This popular session will cover how to manage your volunteers effectively, how to motivate and to reduce turnover, best practice regarding documentation and training, and your legal duties, including maintaining a distinction between volunteers and employees, and whether volunteers have any employment rights, including in relation to discrimination.

This popular session will include practical case studies, and an opportunity to ask the trainer about any current employment or volunteering challenges in your organisation.
