Resources developed by the cultural commissioning programme

This page is free to all
From 2013 to 2017 the Cultural Commissioning Programme (CCP) supported arts and cultural organisations to come together with public service commissioners. It helped them explore ways of working to deliver better outcomes for people and communities. The programme focused on mental health and wellbeing, older people, and place-based commissioning although the knowledge gained is transferable to other public service areas. The programme’s learning has been synthesised into guidance, reports, case studies and other resources.

From April 2015 to March 2016, the Cultural Commissioning Programme provided in-depth support to five groups of arts and cultural organisations to help them build relationships with local commissioners. Each group developed striking and informative ‘plans on a page’ to show how their work contributed to the outcomes wanted by commissioners and communities.
