About the site

Before becoming part of the NCVO family in 2011, Knowhow was developed by the Centre for Charity Effectiveness Trust Ltd (part of the Cass Centre for Charity Effectiveness (Cass CCE)) with a grant from The Big Lottery Fund under the BASIS programme.

Nowadays, Knowhow is loved and cared for by NCVO. The site uses the Open Source Content Management System, Plone and is managed by our partners Text Matters.
