Change how the site looks
My Web, My Way is a useful guide from the BBC showing you how to change the settings on your computer or in your browser (eg Internet Explorer). These simple steps include showing you how to change the font type, increase the text size or change the colours on screen to suit your needs.
How the site is organised
The site is split into six main sections each with its own sub sections:
- the basics
- you and your team
- your organisation
- funding and income
- campaigns and awareness
- leadership.
Each section has a homepage and a list of contents (in the left-hand column).
There is also the How-to guides on a range of topics and an events board.
The sitemap contains a full list of what is on the site.
Tips for screen reader users
The main site navigation is labelled as the 'grey navigation bar'. It contains links to the seven main sections. Once you are in a section or subsection, the left-hand navigation is labelled as 'this section contents'.
